How to Write 聚 (jù) — Meaning “to gather; to assemble”

Imagine a crowd (众) taking (取) their ears (耳) and all gathering for a party. The picture of many ears listening and people assembling helps you recall that 聚 means to gather.

Write the top part 取 first: the left side is 耳 (ear), then add 又 on the right. Then write the bottom part 众, which has three 'person' radicals arranged side by side. A common mistake is making the bottom too wide or squeezing the three people together.
