How to Write 激 (jī) — Meaning “To surge / To excite / Sharp”

Imagine water (氵) hitting a rock with a loud splash; the rock is shaped like the right side 敫, which looks like a person with arms raised. This image of forceful water splashing helps you remember both "surge" and "excite."

Write the three dots of 氵 first, then the right side 敫.
