How to Write 胞 (bāo) — Meaning “Cell; sibling”

Picture a biological cell as a small bag: the left side 月 is the cell membrane, and the right side 包 looks like a bag holding the cell. For siblings, imagine twins sharing the same "bag" (womb). This helps connect the shape to both meanings.

Write the left radical 月 narrow and tall, then add 包 on the right. The 包 starts with a curved stroke (勹) over a 巳; make sure the bottom of 包 lines up with the bottom of 月. A common mistake is making the 月 too wide or forgetting the small hook in the 勹.
