How to Write 螃 (páng) — Meaning “Crab (character component)”

Imagine a crab (虫) that walks sideways (旁) — the side-to-side movement is captured by the shape of 旁. You can also think of the top of 旁 as the crab's two claws and the bottom as its legs.
