How to Write 碑 (bēi) — Meaning “Stele or monument”

Imagine a stone (石) tablet standing in a field, and a small bird is sitting on top of it, looking down (like 卑 means low or humble). The stone is low to the ground, so you remember 碑 as a stone that is humble or low-standing.

Write the left radical 石 (5 strokes) first: horizontal, left-falling, vertical, horizontal, then the mouth part.
