How to Write 观 (guān) — Meaning “To view; to observe”

Think of the phrase 'again (又) see (见)' – when you observe something, you often look at it more than once. Picture yourself using binoculars (the 又 shape) to look at a distant view (见).

Write the left part 又 first (horizontal, left-falling, then right-falling), then the right part 见 (vertical, horizontal, horizontal, left-falling, right-falling). A common mistake is making the left part too wide or confusing the right part with 贝 (shell) – remember 见 has an open bottom.
