How to Write 圻 (qí) — Meaning “Border / Boundary”

Imagine a farmer using an axe (斤) to cut a straight line in the dirt (土) to mark the edge of his field — that line is the boundary. This picture of "earth + axe" helps you remember that 圻 means border or boundary.

The left radical 土 is narrower and sits slightly higher, while the right side 斤 is wider and extends lower. Write the left part first (横, 竖, 横), then the right part: start with the left-falling stroke (撇), then two horizontals (横, 横), and finish with a vertical (竖).
